Minnesota health officials reported six more COVID-19 fatalities Thursday and 138 new infections.
The latest deaths included a St. Louis County resident in their late 30s. Five of the dead lived in private homes and one in a long-term care facility. The death toll is 7,561 since the pandemic began, including 4,467 who lived in long-term care.
There now are 117 patients hospitalized and 32 are in critical condition.
The 138 new cases brings the total to 604,879.
Minnesota has administered 5.6 million doses of vaccine and 3 million have gotten at least one dose. There are 2.8 million who have completed their vaccine series.
Of residents 16 and older, 66.5 percent have gotten at least one dose of vaccine and 62.7 percent are fully vaccinated.
