Minnesota added five more COVID-19 fatalities Wednesday and 91 new infections were reported by the state Department of Health.
Those whose deaths were reported Wednesday ranged in age from their 60s to their 80s with three residing in private homes and two in long-term care.
The state has recorded 604,052 infections and 7,523 deaths since the pandemic began. There are 595,378 people who’ve tested positive who have recovered enough they no longer need to be isolated.
There are 151 patients hospitalized including 56 in critical condition.
Minnesota has administered 5.5 million vaccines with more than 3 million residents receiving at least one dose.
