My experience with Alisa Lein was not pleasant. In my opinion, she was not professional because of her lack of knowledge in the fair housing-disability act(her responsibility as a building/leasing manager). Either that or she was knowingly discriminating. She deterred me from finishing my rental application 1)Requiring rental insurance for my Emotional Support Dog. I asked and she told me that rental insurance is not a requirement for her other residents. 2)Telling me about upcoming rent increases, even though I was not yet a tenant. 3)Before she understood what Emotional Support Animals were, she was telling my potential roommate that I would need to have a job that would allow me to stay home 8+ hours a day. When I brought up this matter, she did not account for it. In my opinion, as a professional, if you don't know, you shouldn't make things up. Do your research. There are other options out there folks, save yourself a headache.
Hi everybody , I am moving MD To Saint paul NC , I am single guy . I can share Apartment with good person .if you interested let me know please. [email protected] Thank you
I rented from the Leins for nearly 6 years. Their rates are reasonable and the property was well maintained. Rent did increase every year, but usually only by $50-$75 at the most. With each lease renewal, the Leins provided a detailed explanation as to why the rate was increasing. They are a small operation with only a few properties in St. Paul so they are responsive when you reach out. A decent and fair landlord!
We had a great experience renting from these folks, and wished our circumstances could have let us stay longer. I felt the rent was appropriately priced, and the Leins were always just a single phone call away. They're a small outfit that cares about their buildings and tenants, not some large awful management company that dodges your calls like some others in the area. I'd absolutely rent from them again.
We have rented with this landlord for 4+ years. They are great and very responsive to their tenants and caring of their property.
