I purchased a car from here a few years back and was pleased but now I believe they are under new ownership? My stepdaughter just purchased a car from here and has had NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS with it. Within a week it stopped working, needed new ball joints (was unsafe to even drive!), catalytic converter and now a NEW TRANSMISSION. After all that added expense (and I know it is a used car and would need SOME work but this is ridiculous) the ABS light is on and that will have to be looked at. HAVE SPENT MORE FIXING THE CAR THAN THE COST OF THE CAR. We will NEVER go back to this place, which is a shame because it used to be reliable, but they never should have sold a car like that - TOTAL SCAM.
RUN AWAY. In July we purchased a Ford Taurus from here. Purchase experience was fine. Dealer represented that the car had been gone through and any issues addressed. However, in the two months we've owned the car, the ball joints failed, the cat converter failed, and now the transmission has failed. I understand this is a used car but dealership would do nothing to make the situation better. We've bought cars from here in the past and had a great experience. Still own one of them, in fact. Our loyalty meant nothing to ATI. Apparently they are now under new ownership and it's not the same place. AVOID this place like the plague. DO NOT buy a car from here under any circumstances.
I would not recommend purchasing a vehicle here if you are counting on it to last more than 2 months. My partner and I purchased a 2008 Hyundai Santa Fe in late July after viewing it online. The test drive experience was pleasant, and the buying transaction was smooth, but I was surprised that the salesman, Prince, did not offer us a warranty at the time of purchase, although he had casually mentioned one earlier in the process. One week after purchasing, we had issues with the steering making a creaking noise (did not happen during test drive). The best the shop could do was to offer to fix it for $400— upsetting, but I understand that we bought the car “as is.” On the 42nd day of owning the car, the engine blew out on the highway at normal speed. After countless shop visits and diagnostics, it has been determined that we need a full engine replacement due to cylinder failure. This has us at a quote of needing at the very least $3800 worth of work, not to mention another $1600 that we had to put into the car for new brakes & PCV valve. We would be at a total of around $5000 worth of parts and labor to get this car that we purchased for $5500 (plus taxes, title etc.) safely driving again.
Absolute crooks. Car failed within 2 months of purchase. Would not recommend doing any business here. Extremely disappointed in the car quality and customer service we received.
He sold me a good car for reasonable price thats what we need right!!
