Love how quiet and beautiful the area is. Management is super responsive and nice. And the city is building a huge outdoor activity playground right next door!
How do you give a zero star. There are some evil people live here who hate new cars. They scratch the new cars at the lot and there is no cameras. If you have a new car or want good management I would not recommend you here.
My husband and I moved out of our 1-bedroom apartment at Ballantrae last month after living there for four years. It was our first place together and honestly; we couldn't have asked for a better experience! The apartment building was always clean and the few maintenance requests we put in always got resolved fully within 24 hours. Kelly was a great manager! He was kind and always answered our questions. Our neighbors through the years were quiet and nice. We were nervous when we first moved in because of the negative reviews but our experience was great the entire time! The only reason we moved is because we outgrew the apartment and needed more space. I would recommend Ballantrae to anyone looking for a reasonably priced place! -The icing on the cake was that we got our full damage deposit back 😊 and FYI we were NOT asked to write a review in any way, shape, or form.
I moved from Ohio and Ballantrae was my first home in Florida. The staff made me feel welcomed and any service request I ever had was immediately taken care of. This is a wonderful place to live, I highly recommend it!!
I do not recommend. My husband and I first chose this complex due to the location and the price, the rent WAS perfect for our budget and seemed like a good idea at the time. Since then after updates, the rent has increased quite a bit, and even though there have been updates I do not feel the increases justify the work done. Most of the work was done outside and if the rent had to increase that much I would have hoped for new appliances, updated cupboards/counters, things like that. I've had several frustrating situations (would take way too long to explain here), not all of them major, but after a while enough feels like enough. The apartment itself is decent enough. Clean enough. Not enough storage, though and if you get one of the old storage units (like we did) you have next to no storage. The garages are TINY (much smaller now since they renovated and spiked the garage rental 150% - yes 150%). The washers and dryers are way outdated, and you share ONE washer, and ONE dryer with the 11 other units...or 11 other families. That can be pretty frustrating as well. I would suggest you find another apartment (since now the prices really aren't too much better than other places) and not deal with the poor management. Some of the workers in the office are very pleasant and helpful, but overall management is pretty poor.
