I've lived here for 13 years now on the Hillsboro side. While there's been changeover of mgmt a few times, Michelle and Brittany are an awesome team. Always willing to help/available, quick response, and understanding. The buildings are older (1970s), but they are kept clean and everything in working order. I have to acknowledge the maintenance team- Shane, Jimmy, Shorty, Faye, and Barb....they are responsive and keep the grounds and buildings clean and running. I'm not sure why the low ratings, I've never had issues in all the years I've been here. If you're content with the basics- outdoor pool/garage, (each apt gets one private locked garage space), and a community laundry room, this place is clean, in a quiet neighborhood, and affordable. Oh, there's a space on first floor to give your dogs a bath :). Also, the HUGE outdoor dog run is a bonus. The only thing I don't like is the machine to load laundry cards is in the office. It would be nice to have one in the laundry rooms themselves so we don't have to walk over in the winter.
New staff is great have lived here for 3 years
Burgundy Apartments is an amazing place to live. This is my first experience moving out and it has been great. The Manager, leasing agents & maintance people are friendly and very helpful. I have never had any issues if there was something wrong in the apartment the maintance people were on top of it, the snow is always shoveled and Brittany (one of the leasing agents) always got back to me in a timely manner via email. If I didn't have to move for other opportunities I would stay. I highly highly recommend this place to anyone, single people, families and it is a great diverse neighborhood.
I lived in the Burgundy apartments for 4 years and thought it was great! I had a couple minor issues which were resolved within a day of the request. The assistant manager, Brittany, is outstanding! Several managers came and left but she holds it all together despite how stressful it is to maintain a complex that size. They really made it feel like a community.
The staff at the office are extremely sketchy. Everything smells terrible, like dog poo and no matter what I did, I couldn’t get the smell out. I thoroughly spent two days deep cleaning after moving my stuff out so that there’d be no excuse for not giving me my deposit and I could use the money for new items for the house I bought. They took almost half of my deposit because they said I didn’t clean the outside of the window. The pool is really nice and all the neighbors were great but the property manager must hate her job or something she was absolutely terrible. They will do anything for an extra dime. I was just happy to be away.
