I lived here over 4 years, I just moved out on 3/31/21 due to purchasing a home. I absolutely loved living here! The renovations look amazing and it was well worth the minor inconvenience it caused, now you can just come and enjoy the sweet new apartments. Stacy, the manager, is very helpful and has gone above and beyond on several occasions to which I am very grateful. The maintenance staff is a cut above the rest, well lead, and provided prompt and expert repairs the few times I needed them. The cleaning staff is relentless and are always quick with the smiles. I will miss them all dearly. Thanks for everything.
We have been living here for about 2 months now and absolutely love it! The location is amazing, it's just a short walk or ride to a ton if great parks. The updated apartments are beautiful, as are the community amenities in the building. We are very excited to see how the courtyard area looks after the construction is done too! The package room is very nice and secure. All of our interactions with staff members and other residents have been pleasant. We have not had to make any maintenance requests, but I do not envision us having any issues when/if we need to. All in all, Eagan Place is a wonderful place to live, and I would recommend it to others who are looking for an apartment in the Eagan area.
If you love the smell of pot, this is the place! We moved in last August and no one told us they'd be renovating and jacking up the prices. Keeping same square footage in the apartment but giving it a shiny appearance is not worth the increases they were showing. I had my bike and some other items stolen from the "secure" garage and some packages as well. This tells me either another tenant did it or they let someone in. No cameras though, so no options. We had puke in the stairwells for weeks at a time, garbage laying in the hallways for the whole time and the whole place just smelled awful. We also were double charged by American Utility Management because the apartment didn't notify Dakota electric that we had the apartment. We were charged for the electricity that was used for 2 1/2 months but I'd already contacted Dakota and paid them directly. We were never given our full refund on that incident. I will say the daily staff was super nice and they did let us out of our lease when they realized we were never told about the future renovations. Unless they up their maintenance and security though, I'd never live there again.
Living here for almost 2 1/2 years has come with difficulties. Through construction and renovation to mail mishaps and online portal problems I have had some frustrating times however, the ladies in the office do their best to help me. I’ve worked with Jamie since day one and she always will call me back or follow up to fix a problem. I appreciate their hard work and prompt assistance. The apartments are a lot nicer and other than the thin walls ocasional apartment hiccups and strange smells throughout the hallways, it’s not a bad place to live. Close to grocery stores, outlet malls, schools, and the airport this apartment has all the things you need including a decent workout room. Overall it’s been good!
Living here these past 10 months, my husband and I have been very happy. We know we made the right choice coming here. ALL of the neighbors we have met and talked with are good kind people. I see many of them where I work at Walgreen’s less than a mile away. We never have a problem finding an open washing machine to do laundry. When we asked last November if we could move our storage unit, the office staff was very understanding. When we have had to make maintenance requests, they were always handled promptly and professionally, even if we were not at home and even if it was not an urgent issue. We love the underground parking, the paid heat, and best of all, the location.
