The apartment was very nice loved the hardwood floors and the extra large linen closet. The manager on the other hand was dishonest my apartment was entered several times without my permission I ended up getting a hidden camera. There was a pipe burst. I was displaced for two and a half months! I was told i had to evacuate so they can repair the damage. They tore my apartment down without a permit but told me they were waiting for permits to rebuild it. This was after I told them i was not going to pay rent there and pay to stay in the hotel buy food and other necessities. I had an event at work the day of the incident and could not stay longer than the hour I did do to pack some things I needed. I had to trust the company they hired to pack and store my belongings. Several of my items were broken and stole from me. Things that were appealing to a woman not those young men packing. The napkins were removed and packed in my things but my glasses were gone. My brand new candle holders were taken and a figurine taken. (These were things i had on my kitchen and coffee table) Staff are professional liars! The trash room was always a nasty mess. Couldn't used the gym when it was open due to the Somali young guys using it as a hang out. They'd spit on the elevator floor. It's supposed to be non smoking but it smells like a weed house on a regular. Tenants allowed their small kids to take out the trash and they'd drag the bag causing trash juice to stain the carpet from their apartment to the trash room. Very bad experience I did tell a few people about the apartment when I first got there. their attempts to apply were ignored and I'm glad only because It turned out not to be a good place to be.
After reading the reviews everything makes so much more sense. I originally had a high level of interest in this place but after constantly calling, leaving messages with no response ive decided to move on with my search. Ive never seen a property so lazy with leasing and prospective tenants.
Although communication was a little spotty prior to applying for the rental, they did their best to answer my questions and were insightful when I did receive an answer. Although I didn't qualify for the apartment with my current student status, management was great with communicating with me and were very friendly. It was an unfortunate situation (an overlook on my part) but they handled it with kindness and care, would recommend to anyone on the fence about this place!
My experience here at the brand new residential construction East town apartments has been nothing short of excellent! I love everything about living here from the spacious beautiful units to the underground parking and the childcare right behind the building. This place was a great choice for me and my child. Also I would like to give a special shout out to the property manager Trisha Bloomquist who has been phenomenal in the process of helping me gain residency here, her great customer service skills, and responsiveness to the residents has been truly appreciated she has been very understanding and patient during these stressful hectic days and always maintains a positive demener! I just wanted to let her know her work ethic does not go unnoticed! Thank you Steven Scott management!!
I was super excited and had some misinformation that this place was income based.. I should of know better when I got one response to my 2 calls and 1 email. But after paying deposit I got a quick response. After finding out right away I couldn't afford it I apologized and asked for my deposit back. That was 2 weeks ago and today the 7th business day they promised I'd have it back. I've sent 2 emails and made 1 phone call still no response. I'm a single mother searching for an apartment and they don't even have the courtesy to respond or at least keep their word, what kind of management office do you guys have going there? So unprofessional.
