I am honestly bummed out that I'm even writing this review. My wife and I lived in Eden Glen for 2 years and we have 0 complaints. The apartment is super spacious, we had a King side bed, a dresser, and 2 night stands in the master bedroom. And a big L shaped desk and queen sized bed in the 2nd bedroom. The living room was so spacious we actually ordered an extra seat for our sectional. I wish the bathroom was slightly bigger but for the 2 of us it was sufficient. In our 2 years we only had 2 minor maintenance requests that were handled in a very timely manner. We had our rent on auto-pay and had little to no interaction with management, but they were always super pleasant and helpful, even as we moved out, they were helpful and kept us updated on all things (mail forwarding, deposit, etc). Our neighbors were diverse and always pleasant. We've never had to complain about anyone or had any complaints against us. Overall, I would 10/10 recommend Eden Glenn to anyone. The only reason we moved was to get closer to work and family. And we wouldn't hesitate to move back if we needed to.
When I first moved in back in 2018 it was an awesome place to live and always clean. By the time I moved out 2 years later the place went down hill with the new management and them spending all their efforts on the place on top of the hill and forgetting about this building. They chased away their good building managers and care takers and left the place disgusting and one of the worst places I have ever rented from. Steven Scott gave up on this building.
We checked these out and laughed so hard at the prices for these apartments that doesn’t even have a washer and dryer in unit that my lungs almost caved in. So far my MN experience with renters is that you all are delusional and winging it with your rental prices.
Felt being discriminated by this place. Applied and filled all the paperwork. The agent told me it would take 3-5 business days to process and make a decision. Fine. However, on the 4th business day about 2pm, receiving a letter saying that we HAVE TO send them a proof BEFORE the 5th business day stating that we have paid the $300 cleaning fees due at Texas, OTHERWISE we will be rejected. Wow... I mean, I’m ok if they are doubtful about my rental history or if they need some proof of some payment. I’m fine with it. The matter is the tone and how they communicate... feel like being treated like a criminal...I don’t understand how can you talk like that to your customers. I mean, after Texas, I’ve been staying in SF for half a year and 13 month in MN. Neither of them talked to me like that it had issues of my rental history. Already approved by a higher-end and more expensive apart now and they either have no question about my rental history. I still don’t understand why this happened and why Eden Glen treated me like that. I still feel discriminated and hurt so far, even though I’ve been approved by another place. Really upset about my experience.
We had some issues of noise from our upstairs neighbors, management helped us to relocate to a different (upgraded) unit at 3 rd floor without extra charge. Really appreciate that!!
