I lived here for just over a year and even though it was an apartment it felt cozy and private like a home. The building is secure, the rules are followed and it is very clean. Residents are respectful, the staff are like neighbors and it is pet friendly. I would have renewed my lease but I moved in with my boyfriend. My dog, cat and I were very comfortable in a 1 bedroom with a balcony.
We have lived at Emberwood for over a year now and it has been good! It's always clean and the property manager is always on site and quick to respond. We feel safe and love the apartment!
Lived here for a year, it's one of the only pet friendly apartments around. It's a little on the pricey side and the noise from neighbors could occasionally be a small nuisance, but overall it was a fine experience. We were largely left alone by neighbors and management which is great, no real hassle with parking like the last apartment I was at. The location is convenient as well- across the street from a cub foods. If you are looking at an apartment here, try to get one along the back of the building, noise from Hwy 65 is near non-existent back there.
Me and my family just moved in the apartment complex like 2 months ago. I have people on the 3 flood are really not mindfull when it comes to walking. They are really loud stomping with there feet. Also they late at night they will start droping stuff on floor. I have been e mailing the assistancing manager also letting her know. She tells me she told them they get quite for one day and same thing is happening again. But still till this day its been the same problem. I pay my rent here same as everyone else. This is out of control.
I am writing this review because I received an email from Emberwood requesting I leave one, so I finally feel obligated to share my experience. This place was horrible when I lived there. My boyfriend and I rented a two bedroom and one bath apartment unit on the second floor of the complex for a year. The walls, floor, and ceiling were paper thin. We felt like we were living with 7 roommates because we could hear every little thing that our neighbors were doing any clear as day. That includes their music, TV, shower, loud talking, footsteps (Especially from above us), hairdryers, etc. We had an especially loud family in the unit below us and complained almost at least twice a month to the office about them because of the volume that their TV was always at. It was constantly so loud, that you could hear it from down the hallway if you were in on the first floor. We were made aware that we were certainly not the only ones complaining about these tenants as well, as there had been multiple complaints about them. Yet, despite all of the evidence (Including videos of the loud sounds through our floor that we had to hear EVERY NIGHT) the office refused to do anything and even went on to tell us a couple times it’s our problem because we live in an apartment. Management was always trying to make us feel like we had no right to complain so that they wouldn’t have to address our problem. They would tell us to knock on the tenant’s doors our self, call the cops, or talk to these people privately on our own time. The phrase “What do you want me to do?” was used quite commonly, as if they had never dealt with a situation like this before. I hope this review will reach some people and help them make an informed decision on if they really want to rent here.
