If I could give Haverhill negative 100 stars I would. By far the worst place I have ever lived and I know multiple other former residents who would agree. Infested with mice and other critters. I had a window that was broken (broken from the outside, not by me) in the middle of winter that took over 4 months to replace. It was so cold in the bedroom that a glass of water left on the window sill would freeze solid. They would constantly try and charge late fees for rent checks that were not late. I had to call the city because of multiple other basic maintenance issues that management refused to address. Because of all the complaints I had, they chose not to renew my lease so me and my 7 year old son were forced to move out in February in MINNESOTA (and we all know moving in negative temperatures is not fun) and then if that wasn’t shady enough, they only returned $100 of my $850 deposit. On top of all this, I recently discovered they charged me for rent for the month after I had already moved out and then turned it over to a collection agency! TERRIBLE, shady, cowardly management. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!
They deleted this review because they’re so scared of people seeing the truth😂 BEWARE: If you do decide to move into these dumps, make sure you ask for a move in check list and make them sign off on items that are damaged when you move in- DON’T FORGET TO MAKE COPIES AND MAKE SURE ALL CORRESPONDENCE IS IN WRITING! They will try to take half of your deposit for anything and everything! If I could give them negative stars, I would. This was by far the most difficult leasing experience I have ever had. I have lived in 10 different apartments over the years and have not once been treated so poorly by a leasing company. Every time we had to do anything involving the office it was a struggle. The office director, Mandy, is a complete coward and couldn’t even confront me via email after a few of my requests- she directed everything to their “corporate” location. Every time we found an error in communications regarding our leasing agreement (which happened often throughout the year) we had to call multiple times, put up with being patronized, were given false information, lied to, ignored, and had to jump through hoops to even get them to look over the lease with us. They made resolving simple tasks seem like something you needed a doctorate to solve. We moved out almost 2 months ago and have yet to receive our deposit. They also have a massive cockroach problem. Moral of the story: this was a horrible experience full of poor communication, poor organization, poor upkeep with the properties, rude and dehumanizing treatment, awful customer service.
Great place to live while being close to the city but not right in the middle of all the craziness!
Totally concur with Jenna. Massive cockroach problem and staff are unwilling to do what it takes to get rid of them. Mandy and other office staff are incredibly irresponsible and generally vindictive people. We moved out this month and it was an very challenging to get our security deposit back. The prices might seem reasonable for these apartments but that's only because the management is awful and there are many flaws to the different apartments. Since KMS management avoids its residents like the plague your maintenance requests won't be solved. PLEASE DO NOT RENT HERE - YOU WILL BE SUPPORTING A HORRIBLE COMPANY.
