Love my new living space! The rental manager and the property manager have been extremely helpful. The common spaces are gorgeous and the location is perfect in Uptown.
Gorgeous, functional apartments & amenities, nice community. Lots of issues with management, constant false fire alarm evacuations, bike thefts, entrance door lock malfunctions. Edit: New management hired shortly after my original review have been much more present, dependable and promptly helpful. Still occasional issues with facilities/amenities but no more fire alarms at least.
Great place if you love living somewhere where the fire alarms go off constantly.. 🙄 and you don't get any compensation for the inconvenience, and if you actually enjoy your bike dont put it in the garage it's basically guaranteed to get stolen same goes for storage if you like your stuff keep it in your apartment, no doubt there's an extreme lack of security. Not a bit worth the absurd rent. But I guess it looks nice so whatever I suppose - light your money on fire at least we know the fire alarms work As I write this the fire alarms are going off for the SECOND TIME today.. and do you think you get compensation for your work day constantly being interrupted?? No.
We have only been here since January at first we loved it but now we are concerned about the lack of management. Since then I have had a bike Stolen out of the paid parking garage, we had a homeless drug user in our shared living space and issues with the app paying rent. Uptown rent is extremely high as is but these apartments are brand new and not cheap but also very unsafe for the amount of rent. The upside to living here are the other tenets they look out for one another and keep each other informed when a bike gets stolen, random person enters the building, or we get a new GM as we have had several in the last 6 months. Also there is very limited green space for pets and the 1 spot they have was filled in with flowers this summer
I am updating this response now that we've had a property manager for some time now. Things have turned around with our current manager, he ensures problems are fixed accordingly. He is responsive to email requests, and has tried to bring back some of the perks we enjoyed. The new property manager is the right person for the job, he greets you with a smile and is willing to help. The right property manager makes a huge difference! I'm pleased to announce that Saturday Properties is no longer managing Rex26. Very hopeful for the new property managers ----------------------------- Original Review: ⭐️⭐️ I was impressed with the potential of Rex26 during its initial construction, this is why I choose to sign a lease before the place was finished. So far the atmosphere has been wonderful! The gym comfortably fits 3-4 people at a time, the shared amenities are pretty cool with great views of the city, you have access to Aldi’s without needing to go outside, the underground garage has a car washing station, and the buildings wonderful assortment of plants and art is a nice touch. Unfortunately none of this matters because the property management only cares that you pay rent on time. Our first manager made sure to provide us with group activities, breakfast, and hustled to fix all issues. After losing our first manager and due to recent events, I’d caution anyone considering to live here to think twice. Rex26 does not have a problem with the community and atmosphere. The maintenance staff, neighbors, and the owner of the building are some of the nicest people. Rex26 suffers from poor management, Saturday Properties has completely dropped the ball and is forcing my negative review. Not only has this place been run completely unmanaged for some time, there are some serious flaws, after raising concerns to the property management nothing has been done. Most of the problems we had from the beginning are still present and I feel Saturday Properties does not have the tenants best interest in mind.
