Best experience with a tour and customer service ever. I walked in on 3:00 in the afternoon requesting if we could do a tour while I was in town. They were able to get me in and show me the beautiful property. The staff was not just "polite" and "nice" but overwhelmingly kind, real human beings-- a trait I am finding is not common in the "caricature/superficial retail-niceness" we've encountered at other places. Unfortunately, I was quoted the wrong price by mistake and we went with a different apartment. However, if the numbers would have worked, I would have signed on the first meeting.
We have had nothing but issues since moving into the Liberty Apartments. Our apartment was not cleaned prior to move and we have had multiple maintenance requests upon move in. These requests have taken multiple times of asking to get them completed and our washing machine is still not fixed. When we toured the place, we were told that our apartment was in great condition and that it would be professionally cleaned before we moved in. This was definitely not the case.
This was the worst experience I have ever had renting. Management is very bad at responding to emails and answering questions. The parking is horrendous, if you like to entertain and have people over you will never have the option to. I paid to have my place professionally cleaned and still didn't receive my deposit back. Our AC went out the hottest 2 weeks of the summer and took maintenance 2 weeks to get back to us about someone coming to check it out. I would never recommend a steven scott property ever, specifically The liberty.
This is my first time living in an apartment and I am so happy I chose this place. Great location. Love the pool and the community is great. Quiet and clean. Management is great as well! Only issue is the guest parking but management has sent out a petition to the city to allow parking on the street during winter. I would definitely recommend this place! 10/10.
When I moved out and did the walkthrough they told me that it was fine to leave my TV mount on the wall and then when I went to drop off my keys they told me that I had to take the TV off the wall within 10 minutes or they were going to charge me $25 or take the money out of my deposit. I shouldn’t have to pay for something their management didn’t communicate with me on prior or I would have brought the tools to take it off myself! Very upsetting way to end 3 years of living there!
