So happy I decided to move to The Walkway! Management is so helpful and welcoming and the residents are always friendly. There are plenty of "work-from-home" spaces, from the common room with free coffee/tea to the poolside deck. The wonderful community is note worthy as well. From "banana split day" to the balcony Christmas decorating contest, there is always something going on and a way to meet your neighbors. The Walkway truly strives to make every resident happy!
I have a beautiful place that I love. The staff is friendly and helpful. And my neighbors are awesome!
Here is a list of issues over the last 11 months living in a "luxury" apartment. 3 management changes during my time, progressively got worse. Like the people at the front desk. Hailey does a great job for the apt. Cars shot up by paintball guns, dysfunctional portals to pay(have to get ledger to confirm rent charges), hot tub was closed for the year, wrong total rental tax form issued, amenities promised and not delivered, no "gym" credit, no security. Talked with new resident that just moved in last month, they made the same promises and they just found out it's fictitious.
My first review actually served a purpose. I am updating this review because since the complaints i have really noticed a turnaround in the staff and building as well. It seems like a lot of progress is getting made and they are working hard to fix the previous issues. Old Review: Love the building and the residents: hate the management company. This has to be the worst property management company I’ve ever dealt with. Pinnacle is the management company for the building I currently live in, The Walkway. Not only did they promise us happy hours and hosted breakfast weekly. We have also had our hot tub under construction all summer. They have changed our buildings office staff about 10 times in a year. They over promised the amenities of the building to get us to sign a lease. We have had 3 happy hours and two pool parties that we’re open to the public, several security issues with people coming in off of the streets and vandalizing our property. Then to top it off they towed my scooter out of the garage when I was out of town. They claimed they didn’t know it was mine. They said it was illegally parked. It was parked on the 1st level of the garage that is contracted out to Denison Parking INC. It was parked off to the side not in a parking spot or in the way of anyone coming and going. Picture below. Denison reached out to the management of my building to see if the scooter belonged to anyone in the building. They replied that they were unsure. They constantly send out emails to us regarding other issues in the building but for some reason decided not to send an email out to the residents that live in building asking if any of the vehicles they were trying to tow belonged to any of the residents. For three weeks I asked them to help find my scooter and we got nowhere. Once I actually got involved I figured out that my scooter had been towed and impounded by Bobby and Steve’s. Now they’re asking me to purchase my scooter back from them and are not taking any responsibility for the matter. I pay monthly for a parking spot for my scooter and have a fob designated to it for access to the garage. On several different occasions multiple residents have had issues with their fobs not working to let them in to the lower level residents garage. In this case generally they park on the first floor. To wrap this review up I did reach out to the people who own our building and they assured me that things would be taken care of. Rebecca Riddering is our regional property manager and she is extremely rude. I asked them to take care of this and return the scooter. They are leaving it up to me to purchase it back and pick it up. I will be suing them and all involved.
I moved in to the Walkway approximately 2 months ago and have been thrilled at the unmatched level of professionalism, helpfulness, and smooth management that this complex exhibits. I am not usually one to write reviews but in the rare cases of exceptionally good service it is only right. I have lived in several different complexes, in more than one state, and am confident when I say I doubt you could find the type of service that is provided here anywhere else in the city. From the phenomenal concierge Jean Pierre, to Alaina the Resident Service's Coordinator to our new Property Manager Jamie, the staff here contains some of the most capable and helpful people I have ever met in the housing industry. I urge you to consider the Walkway as your next home!
