I lived here in a single for 14 months. This place was great to live at while working from home. I greatly appreciated the locked package room. I also had peace of mind knowing my car was in a heated garage during the winter months and never had to scrape my car. Office staff are responsive to communications and any work orders are addressed in the same week. The neighborhood is safe and friendly.
It's a great place to live, even though there are some of us who want to live on our own and not have to rely on a roommate to share expenses like Rent. As individuals, we would like a more affordable 1 bedroom/studio Apartment to suit our needs and keep a roof over our heads.
Very happy living here! On our second year now and have had no issues!
It was such a nice place to live. The setting was beautiful and my apartment was very comfortable. Maintenance was efficient and friendly as was the office staff. I enjoyed the food trucks and community events. I would recommend Vallwy Creek apartments to anyone looking for an apartment.
Nice area, gym, tennis courts, grills, pool. Close to shopping centers and highways. Newly renovated units look nice. Lots of green space close to parks. Maintenance responds quickly. There are cons - they are raising rent after People signed their leases because they are doing a washer and dryer installation in the whole complex in every apartment (yes, while people are still living in them). While there is something in my lease about this project disrupting people, there is nothing in my lease allowing for them to increase my rent in the middle of the lease (not even for this reason of a renovation…). There is even a part of my lease saying that rent cannot be increased once it has been signed and there is even a Minnesota law stating that unless the lease allows it (which it doesn’t) that they can’t. I just don’t understand how they can do this to everyone. If I ask for them not to raise my rent, they will probably not put washer dryer in my apartment, but they will still take the public washers and dryers away leaving me without anywhere to do laundry. So disappointing and sneaky. A lot of people in the community are disappointed by this. They should only do washer dryers in units where people want them and want to pay for them, and still keep the public washer dryers for people to use. They should increase people’s rent after their lease is up and if they want to resign the lease. Not in the middle. That is so wrong. Other bad thing is cigarette and substance smokers making the hallways and vents smell even though it is nonsmoking. Wish they could crack down on people more who were smoking. Walls, ceilings, and floors are thin so you hear everything. If you have loud neighbors like my friend here, it can be tough.
