During presidential campaigns, it’s customary to ask the question, “Are we better off today than we were four years ago?”
With the U.S. accounting for only 4% of the world population and yet suffering 20% of the coronavirus deaths, and with many people struggling to keep food on the table and a roof over their heads, we are clearly far worse off. But in Trump world, he spins things differently. It’s outrageous to hear our president repeatedly say that he’s done a “great job” in managing our nation’s public health response to the virus when his failures have cost thousands of lives and sent our economy into a tailspin.
Unfortunately, his followers believe in him, some right up to their deathbeds, when they repeat Trump’s absurd claims about Covid 19, saying, “I thought it was a hoax.”

The real story
The real story behind the appointing of a new Supreme Court justice to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg is the hypocrisy of the Democrats.
The left is outraged that President Trump, under his constitutional duty, is choosing a replacement that will go through the Senate. The left is crying foul because they say it should wait until after the election so the people can speak.
I don’t remember the Democrats’ outrage when President Obama did the exact same thing in 2016. He didn’t wait until after the election and not a single elected Democrat spoke out.
Also, the people did speak. It was called the 2016 presidential election. Who do you think voted in 2016, cats and dogs?
