A man was critically injured Wednesday night in a shooting in St. Paul’s Summit University neighborhood, police say.
Officers responded shortly before 8:15 p.m. to a report of a shooting in the 900 block of Selby Avenue, where they found a man in a vehicle with a gunshot wound to his head, according to a spokesman for the St. Paul Police Department.
The man was taken to Regions Hospital in St. Paul, where he was in critical but stable condition as of about 11 p.m.
Two people were arrested in connection with the shooting.
No information about what led up to the incident was immediately available.
